Leon Orr was born on October 6, 1953, in Luxora, Arkansas, to Jasper and Mattie Sanders Orr. Affectionately known to family and friends as “Wee Wee,” Leon enjoyed spending time with loved ones, jogging, boxing, and working on cars.

Leon transitioned from this earthly life Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at the Phil and Flo Hospice House in Jonesboro, Arkansas at the age of 72. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jasper and Mattie Sanders Orr, his wife, Tina Marie Orr, his siblings, Frankie Orr, Chris Orr, Cora Mae Joe, Erma Jean Jones, Catherine Taylor, Patsy Hudson, Willie Mae Orr-Young and Sylvester Orr.

He leaves to cherish precious memories, three brothers, Fred (Gwendolyn) Orr of Blytheville, Arkansas; Eddie Orr of Blytheville, Arkansas; and his twin brother Leo (Fran) Orr of Tulsa, Oklahoma; along with many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon in the chapel of McDonald-Horne Funeral Home, 1207 South Division Street, Blytheville, Arkansas.

Celebration of Life services are scheduled from August 29, 2026, at 12:00 noon. Reverend Burton Furlow will the eulogy with interment to follow in Sandy Ridge North Cemetery.
