Elder Murray Johnson departed this life on August 17, 2026 at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, Tennessee at the age of 89. He was born November 13, 1936 in Williamson County to the parents of Norvel Johnson and Bessie Britton Johnson.

Elder Murray Johnson leaves to cherish his many memories, his wife, Jana Johnson; daughter, Lisa (Roy) Brown; seven step-children, two devoted grandchildren, Isaac Maurice Johnson and Felicia Maria Brown and a host of other grandchildren and a host of great grand children, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Elder Johnson will lie in repose on Thursday, August 27, 2026 from 12 until 5 at the funeral home.

Visitation with family Friday, August 28, 2026 from 10 until 11 at Lynn Creek Tabernacle, 117 Fairground Street, Franklin, Tennessee with funeral to follow, Elder Raymond Carothers, officiating and Elder James Coure, eulogist.

Interment Pinecrest Memorial Gardens, Columbia, Tennessee.
