A Celebration of Life Service in loving memory of Mr. Larry Carnell Thompson will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 29, 2026 at Integrity Funeral Services, 3822 E. 7th Avenue, Tampa with Reverend Robert L. Carpenter II, officiating.

Larry Carnell Thompson was born on July 11, 1961, in Enterprise, Alabama, to Shirline Harvis Thompson and the late Charles Thompson. He later attended Hillsborough County Public Schools and enjoyed working as a paralegal when his health permitted.

Larry was preceded in death by his father, Charles Thompson; stepfather, Walter R. Hearn; siblings, British and Lashawn Thompson; paternal grandmother, Estella Jones; maternal grandparents, Ulysses and Eula Harvis; uncles, Coda, L.J., James T., Franklin, and Robert Harvis; aunts, Minnie Smith, Rogena Carter, Wilma Johnson, Eula Murray; and nephew, Marlo Thomas.

Larry leaves to cherish his memory, his loving mother, Shirline Hearn; children, Chris Ballard, Lillian Simmons, and Bresha Pickens; stepdaughter, Tiana; brothers, Willie T. Thompson and Johnnie Thornton; sister, Helen Neal; aunt, Gloria Odessa Summey; godmother, Ruthie Neal; nieces, Niesha Thompson, Shayla Thompson, Aliya Thompson, and Shaquita Norton; nephews, Rashawn Thompson, Demario Williams, Charles Wesley, Everett Taylor, Sherron McCombs Sr., and Claude Brooks Jr.; godbrother, Lovette L. Clark Sr.; along with a host of loving relatives and friends.

Visitation for Larry Carnell Thompson will take place on Friday, August 28. 2026 6-8 p.m. at Integrity.
