Mr. Johnny Kenneth Mayhew departed this life at The Greens at Hickory on Sunday, August 23, 2026.

He was born in Iredell County, North Carolina, on June 13, 1955, to the late Charlie Lindberg Mayhew and Margaret Elizabeth Reid Mayhew.

Johnny was a high school graduate and proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a self-employed master carpenter, dedicating his working years to a skilled trade that reflected his craftsmanship and hard work.

Johnny's memory will be cherished by those who knew and loved him.
