​Thomas Edward Mosley, age 77, affectionately known to loved ones as "Little Bit," passed away peacefully on Friday, August 21, 2026, at 2:15 a.m.

​Thomas was educated in the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania school system and continued his education at Harrisburg Area Community College.

​As a teenager, Thomas grew up with a vibrant, adventurous spirit. In his youth, he could often be found enjoying the outdoors—fishing or swimming in the Susquehanna River, playing basketball, or sledding down the neighborhood hills during the winter. He also spent countless hours flying kites and model airplanes.
​When the Olmsted Air Force Base in Middletown, Pennsylvania phased out in 1965, Thomas relocated with his family to Macon, Georgia, where he attended Lanier High School. While there, he enrolled in the Army Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps (JROTC) program—which, during that period, was the largest single JROTC unit in the United States.

​Following high school, Thomas answered the call to serve his country by joining the United States Army. He served honorably for three years, spending much of his service dedicated to caring for others as a military medic. His service took him overseas to Germany and Spain, where he distinguished himself by earning his jump wings.
​Following his military service, Thomas worked for many years alongside his brother, Eugene. Throughout his life, he maintained a deep, lifelong passion for learning and continually taking on new challenges.

​Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Rebecca Mosley, and his sister, Helen Teresa Aikens.
​He is survived by his beloved daughter, Jamila Halima Muhammad, of Buffalo, New York; his brothers, James Belcher Dini and Eugene Mosley (Soonai); his sisters, Karen Coates and Annette Davenport, both of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and Saundra Walker, of Macon, Georgia; his aunts, Christine Young (Ellis), Mary Thompson, and Beatrice Harrison; as well as a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

​The family expresses special gratitude to Bill, whose support and assistance with Thomas's housing needs over the years meant so very much.

Thomas' life will be celebrated on Thursday, September 3, 2026 in the Chapel Of The Major H. Winfield Funeral Home, 704 N. Front Street, Steelton, PA 17113; Viewing and Visitation:10:00 a.m.; Funeral:11:00 a.m. Interment in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.
