Memorial service for Jonathan Staples, 55, of Salem, OR, formerly of Opelika, AL, will be at 5:00 p.m., Saturday, September 5, 2026, at The home of Mr. Stephen Staples, 3817 Marvyn Parkway, Opelika, Alabama, 36804.

Mr. Staples, who passed away Friday, August 28, 2026, was born July 27, 1971, in Lee County, Alabama.

He leaves to cherish his memory: a devoted wife, Bobbi Staples of Salem, OR; three children, Kenny Williams of Reno, NV, Kelsey Staples of Macon, GA and Brendan Staples of Salem, OR; five siblings, Krystal Staples, Stephen “Bubba” (Kavia) Staples both of Opelika, AL, Jeffi Porter of Columbus, GA, Carlos Porter and Geri Porter both of St. Mountain, GA; two aunts, Joan Davis and Rozelle Jackson both of Opelika, AL; three uncles, Johnny Lee (Lizzie) Porter, Royzelle Moffett and James Moffet all of Salem, AL; a mother-in-law and father-in-law; a special cousin, Geraldine Porter Williams; a host of nieces, nephews, other
