Wendy Michelle West Pruitt Robbins Weaver, 55, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2026, in Huntersville, NC. Born on February 23, 1971, in Charlotte, North Carolina. Wendy was a loving and devoted daughter, mother, wife, grandmother, and friend. Wendy had a fire to her spirit like no other. She was full of life and cared for those she loved. She cherished spending time with her family. She was a movie buff and enjoyed quoting her favorite lines with the ones she adored. Thomas, her husband, and best friend was there with her for every favorite line she had to quote. Thomas did a wonderful job taking care of her. When he said his vows, he meant them and was with her “for better or worse”. She was his Sweetheart. Wendy was preceded in death by her Granddaddy, Jesse Wilbert Via Jr, PawPaw, George Clifton Pruitt, her MawMaw, Jesse Watson Pruitt, her stepfather, Larry Watson Pruitt, and her mother Jean Marie Via Pruitt. Wendy is survived by her husband, Thomas M. Weaver of Rock Hill, SC, her daughters, Stephanie M. Romero (James R. Romero, grandsons: Connor J. Romero, Logan R. Romero) of Fort Mill, SC, Jessica A. Morrison (grandsons: Elijah W. Morrison, Levi B. Morrison), of Fort Mill, SC, her son, David Michael Pruitt (Lauren H. Varnadore, granddaughter: Abby M. Pruitt), of Rock Hill, SC, and her grandmommy, Eva Ann Wilson Via, of Belmont NC. Per Wendy’s request there will be no memorial service. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Levine & Dickson Hospice House- Huntersville. 11900 Vanstory Drive, Huntersville NC 28078.
