Heather Lyn Underhill West, of Bellevue, TX, passed away on Friday, September 4, 2026, at the age of 50.

A celebration of Heather’s life will be held on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Vashti Baptist Church.

Heather filled many cherished roles throughout her life: daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and cousin. Her favorite role was being “Mimi” to her adored grandchildren, who brought immeasurable love and happiness to her life.

Heather was known for her feisty personality, wicked sense of humor, adventurous spirit, and willingness to help others. An avid motorcycle rider, she loved the freedom of the open road and enjoyed traveling and experiencing new places. She was also a cherished member of her community for 30 years.

Heather began working at Walmart in 2013. During her career, she served in many roles and worked her way up to become an Asset Protection Coach. Through her position, she contributed to her community by connecting people with valuable resources and support. Her dedication, leadership, and commitment to helping others made a lasting impact on her coworkers and community.

Heather will be remembered for her feisty spirit, humor, strength, adventurous nature, and deep love for her family—especially her grandchildren. Her laughter, stories, and unforgettable personality will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

Heather is survived by her husband of 22 years, Joseph; her three sons, Alexander, Corey and his wife, Aris, and Joe; her grandchildren, Emilio, Ezekiel, and Eden; her brother, Jason; her parents, Bonnie and Cliff; and many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, coworkers, and friends. She was preceded in death by her nephew, Shawn.
