With hearts surrendered to God’s perfect will, we announce that Mrs. Lallye Lee Forbes has graciously accepted Heaven’s invitation and entered into eternal rest on Sunday, September 6, 2026. Having completed her earthly journey, she now rejoices in the everlasting presence of the Lord, where pain is no more and peace is everlasting.

Funeral services will be 11 AM, Saturday, September 19, 2026, at St. Phillip A.M.E. Church (Centerville Road), with burial the Christian Burying Society Cemetery. Viewing/Visitation will be 12 Noon - 3 PM, Friday, September 18, 2026, at Strong & Jones Funeral Home. Wake service will be 5 PM - 7 PM, Friday, September 18, 2026, at Church of Prophecy (Moccasin Gap Road).
