William Robert Aniba, 53, of Shelby, North Carolina, passed away peacefully at his home on August 20, 2026.

William was a kind and resilient person who had a gift for making others smile and laugh. He loved his friends and family deeply, and his kindness, warmth, and positive spirit touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Above all, William’s greatest joy in life was being a father. His love for his family was at the heart of who he was, and the memories he created with those he loved will be cherished forever.

William leaves behind his mother, Maria Aniba, and his daughter, Violet Aniba. Though he is no longer with us, his love, laughter, and the happiness he brought into the lives of others will remain in their hearts forever.

No formal funeral or memorial service will be held. The family kindly asks for privacy as they grieve, remember, and honor William’s life in their own way.
