Elbert Ray Whitaker, Jr., 73, passed away Friday, September 4, 2026.

Funeral service will be held 11:00am Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at Hunter-Odom Funeral Service, Rocky Mount, NC 27801 with Pastor Shirley McFarlin, officiating and Assistant Pastor Patricia Alford Harrison, Eulogist. Burial will follow at Pineview Cemetery.
