Marcus A. Bowman, age 37, departed this life on November 4, 2026, at home in Augusta, Georgia.

Marcus A. Bowman was born on August 18, 1989, in Augusta, Georgia, to the late John and Virgial Bowman. Marcus graduated from Butler High School.

Marcus was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and two sisters, Natasha C. Bowman and Tamika L. Bowman.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories two sisters, Tanya (Nathaniel) Williams of Augusta, Georgia, and Tiffany (Deondre) Evans of Hephzibah, Georgia; three brothers, Sim (Michelle) Johnson of Marietta, Georgia, John (Elaine) Bowman of Grovetown, Georgia, and Marquise Bowman of Augusta, Georgia; a devoted nephew, Kentrell Bowman; and a niece, Taniya Bennett.

He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts, an uncle, and cousins; his wonderful staff at Georgia Hospice Care, Nurse Ms. Eva Brown and CNA Tashenia Bonner; and his devoted caregiver, Ms. Frances Reddix.

The family will receive friends Friday, November 13, 2026 from 4 pm to 6 pm, at the funeral home.

The funeral service will be 11:00 am Saturday, November 14, 2026, at the Kinsey & Walton Chapel.
