Victoria Gilmore

Passed 10/30/2026

Victoria Gilmore, 57, entered into eternal rest on October 30, 2026, in Augusta, Georgia. A devoted wife, loving sister, and cherished friend to so many, Victoria lived a life defined by faith, service, and generosity of heart.

Victoria’s strong faith in God was the foundation of her life. She was a faithful member of Greater Young Zion Baptist Church, where she found strength, joy, and a church family she dearly loved. Her faith shaped the way she lived and the way she loved others.

She proudly served the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office as a Corporal in the Records Department, where her dedication and care touched colleagues and community alike. Beyond her career, Victoria gave her time and love freely. As a CASA volunteer, she stood up for children who needed a voice, and she could often be found lending a hand at community events and with the many organizations she held dear. Her kindness, her warmth, and her willingness to show up for others will be deeply missed.

Victoria’s legacy of love will forever be cherished by her devoted husband, Dale Gilmore; her parents, Bruce and Elizabeth; her siblings, Angela, Christina, George, and Tony; her Greater Young Zion Baptist Church family; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and dear friends.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation in Victoria’s memory on Friday, November 13, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Kinsey & Walton Funeral Home. Guests are welcome to stop by anytime during those hours to share their love and pay their respects. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held in January, with details to be shared at a later date.
