Celebration of Life Services for Mr. Arthur James Adams, of Jackson, Georgia will be held Saturday, December 10, 2022, 12:00 PM at Rising Star Missionary Baptist Church, 1644 GA-16, Jackson, Georgia 30233. Reverend Clemmie Adams, Officiant.
Remains will be placed in-state at 11:00 AM.
Interment: Jackson City Cemetery, 485 W College Dr, Jackson, Georgia 30233.
Public viewing and visitation will be held on Friday, December 9, 2022, 12:00 PM until 6:00 PM. at Henderson Funeral Services, 744 Brownlee Road, Jackson, Georgia 30233.
Family will receive guests from 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Arthur James Adams leaves to cherish his memory to his loving wife of 41 years, Joyce Denise Adams; his daughter, Lakesha Renee' (Adam) Keely; daughter-in-law, Rhonda Collins; three grandsons, Cordelle James Adams, Michael Lynch, and Julius Cullen; his father, Clemmie Lee (Louise) Adams; four sisters, Willie Mae Roberson of Lumberton, NC, Theresa Aquil of Jackson, GA, Ruthie Adams Bayo of Austell, GA, Lorene (Eddie James) Webb of Forsyth, GA; five brothers, Davis (Lorene) Adams of Hazlehurst, GA, Clemmie (Constance) Adams of Covington, GA, John Balkcom of Jackson, GA, Timothy (Laqueeta) Adams of Jackson, GA, Derrick (Natalie) Adams of Jackson, GA; two uncles, Thomas Stewart and Moses T. Adams of Flovilla, GA; seven aunts, Mattie Pearl Adams, Carrie Cash, Katie Walker, and Sara (Eddie) Walker all of Flovilla, GA, Rosa Mae Render of Jackson, GA, Evelyn (Larry) O'Neal of Jenkinsburg, GA and Daisy Mae (Tyrone) Richards of Griffin, GA; one sister-in-law, Norma Jean Kemp of Kansas City, MO; brothers-in-law, Mark Kemp of San Antonio, TX and Tommy Kemp of Denver, CO, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends who will miss his presence.
