Celebration of Life Services for Mr. Calvin E. Thurman, of Jackson, Georgia will be held Thursday, October 6, 2022, 12:00 NOON at Rock Creek Missionary Baptist Church, 2051 GA-42, Flovilla, Georgia. Reverend Robert L. Henderson, Pastor, Officiating.

Remains will be placed in-state at 11:00 AM.
Interment: Rock Creek Church Cemetery.

Public viewing will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM.

Calvin E. Thurman leaves to cherish his memories to a devoted mother Vergilene (Wilme) Webb, four children, Shadricus Lindsey, Calvin Thurman, Jr., Colleen Thurman, and Christopher Thurman; nine grandchildren; two brothers, Maurice Thurman and Wilmer (Velda) Webb, Jr.; three sisters, Lola Richards, Bridgette (Ronrico) Stillwell, and Stephanie (Reginald) Bush; five uncles, Gus (Pamela) Bland, Emerson (Clyde) Thurman, Bobby Gene Thurman, Carey Thurman, Sam (Ceressa) Thurman; three aunts, Carolyn Billingsley, Christine (Marcells) Blalock, and Glorine Thurman. A host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. He leaves a special friend Priscilla Clark.
