Celebration of Life Services for Chester Lewis White of Jackson, Georgia will be held Saturday, March 29, 2025, 12:00 PM at Rock Creek Missionary Baptist Church, 2051 Highway 42 South Flovilla, Georgia 30216. Reverend Starlon Byrd, Presiding and Pastor Robert L. Henderson, Sr., Eulogist.
Remains will be placed in-state at 11:00 AM.
Interment: Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, 144 Hope McClure Road, Jackson, Georgia 30233.
Public viewing will be held at the Henderson Funeral Services Chapel, 744 Brownlee Road, Jackson, Georgia 30233, on Friday, March 28, 2025, from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM.
Chester leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and devotion. He is survived by his beloved wife, Marjorie White; his daughter, Angela (Demetrius) Delaney; two sons, Terrell Christopher White and Dennis Grier, both of Jackson, Georgia; three brothers, Charlie F. White of Jackson, Georgia, Steve (Toni) White of Covington, Georgia, and Bernard (Vanessa) White of Rockmart, Georgia; and three sisters, Jessie Banks of Clarkston, Georgia, Maxine Morgan and Cathy Mosley, both of Decatur, Georgia.
He is also lovingly remembered by his sisters-in-law, Almeta (Deacon Eddie J. Ragin, Jr. ) and Vernessa B. Johnson, both of Perry, Georgia; brothers-in-law, Robert W. Billings, Sr., of Fort Valley, Georgia, Leonard G. Billings, of Perry, Georgia, and Michael A. (Betty) Billings, Sr., Perry, Georgia; special niece, Stephanie Talbot, of Detroit, Michigan, close friends, Johnny Woody, of Jackson, Georgia, Alben Watts, Jackson, Georgia and Sid Holcomb, of Florida; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends.
