We had so much fun together, you, me and Germany coaching basketball with those great kids at Milner Middle School! I carried those memories throughout my teaching career. So many great memories of you and the fun we had! You positively impacted so many of your students and all of us who knew you. Thank you for the memories. Rest in peace my friend. Prayers for your family and loved ones. Susan Polk MMS 1977-1983

Mr.Smith was my teacher and he was always nice until some students made him mad & u didn't want to see that side of him.He will be truly miss. My last time seeing him was at Jackson Big Chic.He said hi Roussaw and we talk & he told me he was coming back to Barnesville to check on his 🏠.R.I.P Mr.Smith
I had the distinct pleasure to meet Mr. Smith as one of his highschool students. Mr. Smith was an outstanding teacher. I recall when I was in college and my parents was unable to drive to Atlanta, Mr. Smith would take me to Atlanta from Barnesville. I will never forget Mr Smith's act of kindness. I know he has a place in heaven. The memories of Mr. Smith will forever linger in my heart. Pray for your family. Gloria Green
