Minnie Lois Stewart-Maddox leaves to honor and cherish her memory five sons: Lenell (Mattie) Reaves, Richard (Janice) Stewart, Anthony (Dorothy) Stewart, Edward Maddox, and Kenneth Nelson; three daughters: Rena (Harvey) Norris, Jennifer (Don) Lucier, and Sherica Maddox; two brothers: Howard (Zadie) Reeves and Melvin Reeves, Jr.; one sister: Betty Jean Reaves; two daughters-in-law, Alicia Stewart and Mattie Rose Stewart, along with a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will forever treasure her love and legacy.
Minnie’s presence was steady and comforting — a listening ear, a gentle hand, and a heart that always made room for others. Her laughter could brighten the hardest days, and her quiet wisdom shaped the lives of everyone around her. Though she is no longer with us in body, the lessons she taught, the love she shared, and the faith she lived will remain in our hearts.
We rejoice knowing she is now at peace and resting in the care of the Lord.
