Obituary For Ruby Lou Rawls
Celebration of Life Services for Ruby Lou Rawls of Jackson, Georgia will be held Tuesday, April 22, 2025, 2:00 PM at Bold Springs CME Church, 169 England Chapel Road, Jackson, Georgia 30233. Evangelist Dianne Rawls-Griffin, Eulogist and Bishop Verdell R. Griffin, Jr., Presiding.
Remains will be placed in-state at 12:00 PM.
Interment: Bold Springs CME Church Cemetery
Public viewing will be held at the Henderson Funeral Services Chapel, 744 Brownlee Road, Jackson, Georgia 30233, on Monday, April 21, 2025, from 12:00 PM until 6:00 PM.
Ruby leaves to cherish her memory: her loving husband, Deacon Eddie Louis Rawls; two devoted daughters, Dianne Rawls-Griffin (Verdell Jr.) of Kingsland, GA, and Ruby Rawls Vance of Clayton County, GA; one devoted son, Arthur Lewis Rawls of Columbus, GA; Maxine Smith-Rawls of Calhoun, GA; and her adored grandchildren, KaSheena Rawls, Sharik Rawls, Jenai Rawls; along with great-grandchildren Amaβre Malcolm and Jamarion Rawls, with whom she shared a special bond.
She is also survived by her loving sisters, Rosa Sims (Ulysses) of Griffin, Georgia, and Imogene McDaniel of Decatur, Georgia, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and cherished friends who will forever remember her gentle spirit, kind heart, and enduring grace.
