Celebration of Life Services for Shelby Jean Henderson of Jackson, Georgia will be held Saturday, May 24, 2025, 11:00 AM at Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 709 S. Mulberry Street, Jackson, Georgia 30233. Reverend Christopher Cleveland, Eulogist and Reverend Samuel L. Taylor, Officiating.
Remains will be placed in-state at 10:00 AM.
Interment: City of Jackson Cemetery, 485 W College Drive, Jackson, Georgia 30233.
Public viewing will be held at the Henderson Funeral Services Chapel, 744 Brownlee Road, Jackson, Georgia 30233, on Friday, May 23, 2025, from 12:00 PM until 6:00 PM.
Shelby Jean Henderson leaves to rejoice in her memory: five children Angelia (Dennis) Cash; Reginald (Lorie) Henderson; Aretha (Troy) Worthy; Ronald (Pinky) Henderson; and Arlette (Ollie) Spivey; nine grandchildren Anthony, Joi, Aaron, Jessica, Ronald II, Terrence, Regine, Nyla, and Nolan; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces,
nephews, other relatives and friends.

It was so joyous to be able to visit with Shelby in early May. What an amazing reunion to have been able to witness between Florine and Shelby, her longtime friend from early grade school years. During our visit, they both held hands and continuously said, "It's so good to see you" there were tears of happiness and so much joy and love! They spoke of her everlasting love for Samuel, they are now reunited and we will find peace in knowing that she is in no pain. So much love to Shelby's children who have helped us keep a connection with our moms. Sending so much light and love your way.
