Freddie was not only my chief engineer for WABG Radio, but more importantly he was my friend. I loved talking radio with him and spending time with him, but he was the poorest time manager I have ever known. He was always busy! At another station or rolling to Indiana or Wisconsin and back to Mississippi. My last visit with Freddie at my home was back in September 2023 with another dear friend and it was special. Freddie was a very gifted and talented person who shared with others. I am fortunate to have met him. I learned so much so quickly and will do my part to preserve and cherish his legacy. Frederick "Freddie" Sanders never to be forgotten.
