Obituary for Aisha Mugisha Quinn "Mami"
Aisha Mugisha Quinn, lovingly known as "Mami," was born on June 26, 2008, and lived her vibrant life in Thomaston, Georgia. She passed away far too soon on April 25, 2025, but the light and laughter she brought to the world will never be forgotten.
Aisha was the heart of every room she entered. Her infectious laughter, quick jokes, and joyful spirit made her impossible not to love. Whether at family dinners, out exploring new restaurants, or just sharing time with her sisters, Aisha brought life and warmth wherever she went.
She had a special love for knitting — a skill she not only enjoyed herself but joyfully passed down by teaching her sisters, creating memories that will last forever. Aisha loved food, new adventures, and most of all, being surrounded by the people she cared for. Family dinners, once simple gatherings, became bright, lively events thanks to her boundless energy and love.
Aisha lived by the quote, "Life is coming from you, not at you," and she embodied that spirit every day — meeting the world with kindness, excitement, and a heart wide open to everyone she encountered.
Aisha is survived by her devoted mother, Aline Mujobwujaha Quinn, and her beloved sisters, Vanessa and Husna Quinn. She now joins her grandparents, Kayitan Issa and Katwenga, who passed before her, and no doubt welcomed her with open arms.
