My family, my uncle, my friend, I haven't come to terms with your passing, it doesn't seem so real. You labored long, you labored hard, now God has called you home. God has prepared a room for you and your siblings await you and your other family too. So go and rest and celebrate. You simply changed your earthly address. Gone but never forgotten. Until we meet again.

My wife and I Roger & Shirley Blalock would like to extend our condolences of the passing of John A. Crawford. Mr. Crawford was a great inspiration during my high school years. May God's spirit comfort your family and friends. I lived in the same neighborhood where he looked after his children as well as every other child in the neighborhood.
Uncle John you will truly be missed. You showed up for everything. I remember flying from Philly to atlanta arrival time 4:30 pm. I didn't arrive until 2:30 am and you were still at the hotel waiting for me looking as nervous as me. You rarely called me by name, it was always "the twin". Love you always Dot
