Kevin was one of the best barbers ever known. I remember him from the Barber zone in Douglasville Georgia where I met him years ago always full of laughter and knowledge. Rest in peace. Sleep well, my friend until we meet again.

My heartfelt condolences to the Franklin family. Cheryl is like a sister to me because of the special bond we shared through her beloved mother. More than 38 years ago, her mother cared for my daughter, and from that moment, Kevin, Patrice, and little Princess welcomed us with open arms. We became family. I am forever grateful for the love, kindness, and beautiful memories shared over the years. To my Navy brother—and I truly mean brother. The bond we forged while serving isn't something that time or distance can ever fade. I'll never forget when we both served onboard the USS George Washington, that 1998- 1999 deployment, the long night watches, or just laughing until our sides hurt. You stood by me through thick and thin, and the world is a little dimmer without you in it. Fair winds and following seas, brother. I've got the watch from here.

My prayers and condolences are extended to the family. I have know Kevin since the days of barber school-Brown's Barber College. I had the privilege and the honor to share in Kevin's training. A healthy relations was born; a relationship that extended for decades. Kevin possessed one of the warmest spirits I have ever encountered and I will not ever hold onto Kevin's energy of calmness. His gentle spirit and huge smile are two reasons to smile as I reflect upon our encounters May the Holy Spirit be felt and welcomed unto the family, friends, coworkers, and neighbors. Sending my Condolences to Calya and the family I meet Kevin and Calya about seven years ago through my boyfriend Markes the first day I met Kevin he was very welcoming he told me to you better take care of my friend because we go way back too our Navy days whenever we come to ATL we always linked up and had a great time all of us.
