A Memorial Service for Margaret Ann Davis will be held on Saturday, February 8. 2025, 1:00 PM in Elizabeth's Chapel of Alfonso Dawson Mortuary.
My Grandmother was special. In quiet mildness, she also made others feel special and loved. Both her granddaughter and her daughter Carol look forward to the time when we can see her again, young and healthy. Until that time we draw comfort in the words of Revelation 21:4 "He will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more."

To the Davis Family We are sorry to hear about the passing of Margaret A Davis. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends during this hour of great sadness. To all grieving hearts we encourage all to please draw tender mercy from God. He knows what we are dealing with. In God's great love, He has given us His personal promise that He would soon use His great powers to rid the earth of all forms of sickness and death. (Revelation 21:3-4) However, there is yet another promise that God wants all to be made aware of. This promise deals with the restoring of life back to those who have fallen asleep in death. The comforting promise is recorded at John 5:28-29. As the verses states, that God would cause a calling to go forth to those in the grave to stand up in life again. Yes what a wonderful time period this will prove to be. Just imagine this time period when many will witness with their very eyes their love ones standing up in life again. This future arrangement is possible because God is the source of life for all things. (Psalm 36:9) Yes, even if a person dies, God has the power to make any person whole again. During this time period, the age old question will finally be answered. That questioned was, if a person dies can He live again will be answered yes. (Job 14:14. The faithful servant Job said that He was willing to wait for His relief from death. In clear terms, He know that His future resurrection was certain. God wants us also to feel the very same way. So help all to develop strong faith in this future blessing, God has preserved nine accounts in the Bible that speaks about the resurrection blessing that would soon take place earth wide. Here is just one such example that is recorded at Acts 9:36-42. I hope that all will get a chance to see how these verses will be applied to Margaret, and a great host of others in a very special way. So, in closing we encourage all to please keep this promise of God near your hearts at all times. Remember that when God makes promise, it becomes reality. For it is impossible for God to lie. (Titus 1:2)
