Mrs. Storey was a sweet soul who was very impactful in my life and upbringing as a neighbor and family friend- Charlotte Place/Bankhead. Through Mrs. Storey, I was introduced to my first church home Pilgrim Travelers Baptist, Rev Pozie Redmond. I will forever remember the love and care that she showed me and how she pored into me as a young girl. The Storeys were well respected and leaders in the black community and one of the first black owned businesses I remember, Storey Beauty Supply. Also, one of the first ppl I knew to have a car phone 😃. Rest in peace Mrs Storey. With love ❤️ Toni
Mrs. Storey, I will never forget you. We had a long life together with great memories. We reminisced last that we talked. You were a jewel! There was none like you. If you could do anything for anybody, you would. God was indeed on your side. I love you and miss you always.
