Everytime I saw you I got NO work done, and I wouldn't haven it any other way. You became one of my favorite people in such a short amount of time. I thank you for being a light whenever I came in to your presence, and I pray that you are at perfect peace. My heartfelt condolences to my bonus family during this difficult time. Vickki April Blackwell will always hold a very special place in my heart and my family's hearts. From the memories we shared growing up to the times she stayed at my house almost every weekend, she truly became like another sister to me. I will always remember when her family relocated to Atlanta and Vickki did not want to move yet and she stayed with my family until she started missing them too much and felt like she was missing out on being someplace totally different and fun, but that time spent together brought us even closer. I always called her by her full name, Vickki April Blackwell-it's a name I will forever hold close to my heart. She was outspoken, blunt and beautifully real qualities that made her unforgettable. I will always cherish her spirit and the joy she brought into my life. To her Dillon High School Class of 1980, she was Crowned our Miss DHS but to me she was my Sis! Praying that God grants my bonus family comfort, strength and peace and that loving memories of Vickki surround you now and, in the days, ahead.
