Memorial Service for Mr. Wayne Cosby will be held Saturday, November 15th, 2025, 1:00PM in the Elizabeth Chapel of Alfonso Dawson Mortuary.
Wayne Cosby passed away on November 6th, surrounded by love. He proudly served in the United States Navy, including honorable service during Desert Storm. Wayne carried that same strength, loyalty, and warm spirit throughout his life.
Wayne was the oldest of four siblings. He leaves behind two brothers, Anthony Cosby and Michael Mayson, and one sister, Sharon McKee. He was a devoted father to his oldest being DeβAndre Cosby. Wayne loved being around his family and friends. He enjoyed having a good time, sharing laughter, and creating memories that will be treasured forever.
Wayne will be remembered for his joyful presence and the way he made others feel welcomed and loved. His family and friends will continue to hold his memory close in their hearts. May he rest in peace and honor.

Wayne, I can't think of a better childhood than growing up with you, Roger, Ricky as my brothers. Thank you for the memories. (Shown with this is the religious symbol for Islam; no, neither of us were Muslim, but we found each other in Navy boot camp and would attend the Muslim service so could meet up and talk with out much interruption, because there were only about 6 us π; yes Bro, we figured it out. You have ALL the answers now. Fair winds and following seas Shipmate; my Friend, my Brother.
