I had the pleasure of meeting Charvais at NYU where we were in the same cohort. He always brought so much light and wisdom. Rest well my friend. Prayers and strength to the family.
Heavenly Father,
Today we remember and honor a remarkable young man whose life touched so many hearts. Thank You for the love, leadership, kindness, and strength he shared with his family, friends, and community. Though his time with us feels far too short, the impact of his life will never be forgotten.
Lord, comfort his family and friends during this season of grief. Surround them with Your peace, strength, and unfailing love. Help them find comfort in the precious memories they shared and in knowing that his legacy of love, faith, and leadership lives on through those he inspired.
May his example continue to encourage others to love deeply, lead with integrity, and cherish the people around them. Grant rest to his soul and healing to all who mourn his loss.
To the family, may God bless the family in this time of sorry.

Sorry for your loss, will continue to lift the family up in my prays.
I worked with Charvis summer of 2012 at Camp Best Friends. He made a huge impact on my life and the staff and especially children he met. I didn't even know he kept in touch with some of the "at risk" kids to display positive leadership in their lives. Not only was he there emotionally but financially as I have personally witnessed him purchase school uniforms for high school children who were capable of employment but still did not have the means. Charvis and me planned to become "socialites" that summer. We "upgraded" our wardrobe with the thrift stores' finest for me lol. He had the fanciest clean car I had ever seen at that point (it was clean and had coool air). He introduced me to CamiCakes and much more. He was there for my family when we had a minor emergency. Charvis was truly too good for all that he did for others.
Sorry for your loss Charvis will be truly missed at the church of life I will miss our hugs on Sunday and Tuesday my heart is heavy but I know God give you your wings kept watching over us love you so much thank you Mr and Mrs Buckholts for letting us be a part of Charvis life God Bless
