Miss. Ashley Shorlanda Brown 34, of Unadilla GA entered into eternal rest on Thursday October 27, 2022.

Funeral Services for Miss. Ashley Shorlanda Brown 34,of Unadilla GA will be Saturday November 5,2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Camp Creek Missionary Baptist Church Unadilla GA. Interment New Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery Elko, GA.

Public Visitation will be held Friday November 4, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

With much LOVE and JOY, Ashley Shorlanda Brown was welcomed into this world on February 9, 1988, in Cordele, Crisp County, Georgia. She was born to the loving and devoted parentage of Tamie Brown and Deacon Councilman Lurry Brown, Sr. Ashley possessed a special light, and her light lovingly shined as she embraced her life in spite of her physical disabilities. That embrace included being educated in the Crisp and Dooly County school systems. Ashley was a 2010 graduate of Dooly County High School and received her high school diploma in great standing. A gift to all who knew her, Ashley left a mark on those she came in contact with. She was dearly loved, and her radiant smile and light will forever shine in our hearts. When Ashley gained her Heaven-bound wings on October 27, 2022, the light in our home became a little dimmer. But we find comfort in knowing that her eternal light will never fade, because Ashley’s temporary earthly journey of life transitioned to an eternal life in her eternal heavenly home. Ashley was preceded in death by her grandparents, Will Jr. and Artie Mae Brown and James Adkinson, Sr.; sister, Tikisha Lorane Hayward; aunt, Bobbie J. Cherry; and uncles, James Adkinson, Jr. (Rosie), Charlie Griffin (Fannie), and devoted uncle, David (Sonny) King. Left in the comfort of her memories are: her loving and devoted parents, Deacon Councilman Lurry Brown, Sr., and Tamie Brown, both of Unadilla, GA; siblings, Sharonda Brown and Lurry Brown, Jr., both of Vero Beach, FL, Valencia Bunch of Warner Robins, GA, and Natelie Key of Perry, GA; devoted grandmother, Geraldine Ervin; aunts, Cassidy R.
