With deep sorrow, we announce Mother Mary Benjamin, age 95, of Vienna, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on Friday, June 13, 2025.
Funeral services celebrating the life of Mother Mary Benjamin, age 95, will be held on Monday, June 23, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, Unadilla, Georgia.
Interment will follow at the Mt. Moriah Church Cemetery.
A public viewing will take place on Sunday, June 22, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Coes Funeral Home, Unadilla, Georgia.

My Mom and Mrs. Benjamin were wonderful friends and great telephone buddies. We would often go to their home (Atlanta) and they would come to ours. You were one of "The Ones", the extraordinary women in each generation, who knew that our people needed a little extra love, encouragement, and guidance to thrive and grow. You were one who taught without condescending, who led by example, who kept the faith. You were one who made us proud to be who we are and determined to be something even more tomorrow. You were a mother to us all! May the memories that mean the most to us live forever in our hearts. -
