Obituary For Mr. Ced’Chavius “CJ” Ja’Quez Bennett
Celebration of Life: The Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at Forest Chapel Baptist Church, 4101 Pinehurst-Byromville Road, Pinehurst, GA.
Interment: Interment will follow in the Forest Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
Public Visitation: Public visitation will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., and on Sunday, September 13, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon, at Coes Funeral Home, 1398 Pine Street, Unadilla, GA.

CJ "was" is difficult to type because CJ "is" so many things. He is genuine joy, he is continuous laughter, he is I meant what I said, he is a giving heart. Though his life was short, his impact will live forever. I came to know CJ through working at Dooly Schools after school program, he made me laugh more times than I can count and I'm forever grateful for those moments. Great humans are sometimes given an unfair fate that leave us asking why. Speaking prayers of comfort, strength and peace for Tri and all who loved CJ.
