Funeral Services for Mr. Eugene “Kiley”Taylor 72, of Unadilla GA will be held Saturday February 1, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. at the Camp Creek Baptist Church , Unadilla GA. Interment in the Evergreen Cemetery Unadilla GA.
Mr. Eugene “Kiley” Taylor was born May 12, 1952, in Dooly County, Georgia, to the late Willie Cherry and the late Rubie Mae Taylor.
He was called home to rest by his Heavenly Father on Saturday, January 25, 2025, while at WellStar MCG Hospital in Augusta, Georgia. Eugene was educated in the Unadilla Blue Devils school system and graduated with his high school diploma in 1972. Eugene served in the United States Army from July 25, 1972, through March 8, 1974. He became a member of the Camp Creek Baptist Church in Unadilla, Georgia, at an early age. He lived many years in Hamilton, Ohio, before moving back home to Georgia. Eugene really enjoyed gathering with his family, talking with friends, traveling, and looking good.
Eugene was preceded in death by his parents, Rubie Mae Taylor and Willie Cherry; sisters, Helen Rosier and Dorothy “Mandy” Taylor; and brothers, George Taylor, Lonnie Taylor, Willie Taylor, James Taylor, C. B. Taylor, L. D. Kendrick, Willie Cherry, and Earl Cherry.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories: his three daughters, Alicia Adkinson of Unadilla, Georgia, Sakedra Furlow of Vienna, Georgia, and Sakemma Adkinson of Unadilla, Georgia; two sons, Dontavious Furlow of Vienna, Georgia, and Jontavious Furlow of Vienna, Georgia; one brother, Vincent Cherry (Lidya) of Unadilla, Georgia; three sisters, Mamie Cherry Duhart (the late Clint) of Atlanta, Georgia, Claire Cherry of Stone Mountain, Georgia, and Gloria Lester of Unadilla, Georgia; he also left twenty grandchildren and two great-grandchildren behind; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Eugene was such a protector for us when we had to go to Unadilla High School. He always made sure that Willene Howard, Janice Clark, Patricia Burke and I was always ok and that we were not bothered by anyone.
