Mr. Herbert Graham age 77, of Cordele Georgia, entered into eternal rest on Thursday , September 18, 2025.

Memorial Service for Mr. Herbert Graham of Cordele, Georgia will be held Saturday, October 4, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Coes Funeral Home Unadilla, GA.

Herbert Lamar Graham (Greene), age 77, passed away peacefully on September 18, 2025, in Cordele, Georgia. Born on July 21, 1948, in Richwood, Georgia, Herbert spent his early years in Vienna and was educated in the Vienna city school system.

Herbert gave his life to Christ at Bethel Baptist Church in Vienna, Georgia, a testament to his enduring faith and spiritual foundation. Known for his kind and gentle nature, Herbert was a compassionate man who held a special place in his heart for children. His innocence and sincerity left a lasting impression on those who knew and loved him.

A devoted sports enthusiast, Herbert found great joy in watching all types of sports. Wrestling was his favorite, but he followed many games with enthusiasm and passion. Whether cheering from the sidelines or discussing the latest matchups with friends and family, sports brought him immense happiness throughout his life.

He leaves behind a loving family who will cherish his memory: siblings Johnny B. “Ethie” Graham (Louise); Ligie Mae “Dinah” Smith; Mary Francis “Frankie” Graham; Sammy Lee Greene (Josephine); Evelyn Annette “Teen”Greene; Merlin Reddick (Paul); Lisa Williams; Johnny B. Lamar Jr.; Annie Eva Jones; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends. Herbert was preceded in death by his parents, the late Johnnie B. Lamar, Sr., and Lillie Mae Greene-Graham. He was also preceded in death by several siblings: Clara “Suge” Means (Spencer), Johnny “Ham John” Greene, Marcus Lamar, Ralph Lamar, and Clifford “Pete” Lamar. Herbert’s legacy of kindness and compassion will live on through those who knew him. May his memory bring comfort and peace to all whose lives he touched.
