Graveside services for Mr. Johnny Bernard Willis Jr. 63, of Cordele, GA will be held Saturday April 22, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Hardshell Cemetery, Cordele Georgia.

Mr. Johnny Bernard Willis Sr. better known as frog by some and junior by others was born February 15, 1960 in Cordele, Georgia. Mr. Johnny slipped away from family and friends and so many he loved at the age of 63 on April 14th, 2023. He was a resident of Cordele, Georgia. Mr. Johnny was educated in the Crisp County Public School System. He was a devoted Jehovah Witness. A loving father, uncle, and friend. He loved spending time with his family. He was always a quiet man. During his lifetime, Mr. Johnny drove trucks and he was an employee with Jackson Farms in Cordele, GA. He loved the Pittsburg Steelers and he collected antiques. Mr. Johnny was an excellent craftsman and he would make something out of nothing. His favorite TV show was Walker Texas Ranger. Mr. Johnny was proceeded in death by his Father Mr. Johnnie Willis Sr. and his mother Ms. Estelle Ford. Also proceeded him in death is Mr. Bobby Hawkins (brother) and Ms. Dorothy Jean Jackson (sister). He leaves behind his children: Ms. Monica Willis Brown of Unadilla, GA. Mr. Johnny Barnard Willis, III (Terry Jane) of Vienna, GA., Ms. Sophilia Vertraile Willis of Leslie, GA. Other children include: Mattie L. Cross of Cordele, GA. Kasey D. Cross of McDonough, GA and Priscilla M. Butts of Oscilla, GA. A loving sister: Ms. Johnnie Mae Fields of Cordele, GA. His great-aunts: Ms. Mary Pounds of Cordele, GA. and Rosa Mitchell of Cordele, GA. Mr. Johnny loved and cherished his grandchildren. Keemondre Willis Owens, Tymarian Brown, Joshua Moore Jr. Jamiahia Moore and Aaliyah Moore. His great granddaughter, Kee’laryrri Willis Owens. He also leaves to mourn a host of nieces & nephews, cousins, other relatives and many sorry friends.
