I will cherish fond memories of Cousin "Joe" bringing my mom and I okra and other yummy vegetables that he had grown. He would always sit for a long talk and I would enjoy listening to him and my mom reminisce about old times. He will be missed. May family and friends find peace and comfort in the "God of all comfort" and also in their own memories of Cousin "Joe".

Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God.~2 Corinthians 1:3,4

Today I say goodbye to my favorite "Sour Patch Kid."

My uncle and I had our ups and downs, but we always found our way back to each other. He was my father's brother, but in so many ways he was like a father to me. He was there when it mattered—like the time he bought my prom gown. Through the years, we shared a bond that didn't depend on obligation, only love.

I'll always be grateful for the memories, the lessons, and the place you held in my life.

Rest peacefully, Uncle. You will always have a special place in my heart. ❤️
