Mr.Kenneth Cross 62 ,of Unadilla GA entered into eternal rest on Sunday July 19, 2020.

Committal Service for Mr. Kenneth Cross 62, of Unadilla GA will be held Wednesday July 22, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. at the Walnut Cemetery Unadilla GA immediate family only. Final rites have been entrusted to Coes Funeral Home, Unadilla.

Mr. Kenneth Leon Cross, Sr., was born on August 15, 1957, and departed this life on July 19, 2020, at his residence in Unadilla, GA. Kenneth was born into the union of the late Mr. Sammie J. Cross and Mrs. Ethel Cross, of the 16 surviving children, Kenneth was their 11th born child. Ever since Kenneth Cross, Sr., began his journey in Unadilla, GA, he had always been known for being adventurous, comical, inspiring, genuine, unselfish, and compromising. As a teenager, he expanded his journey to CA, and then across the country, where he spread his one of a kind personality. After many years of travel, he settled in Atlanta, Georgia. Ken devoted several years to the Highland Inn, alongside his brother Terry Cross. In the midst of hard work, Ken never forgot about family. He always made time to visit home frequently, invited family into his home with open arms, and build an even stronger bridge with his children. Ken saw to it his children were familiar with family and his wonderful home, Unadilla, GA, where he insisted, he end his journey. In his last moments, Ken was in the superlative care of his brothers, sisters, more family, and friends. If one was fortunate enough to converse with Kenneth Cross, Sr., they would know he was all about loving yourself and spreading love. Kenneth was preceded in death by his siblings, Martha Cross, Eddie James Cross, Sallie Cross, and Willie James Cross. Loving memories will forever live in the hearts of: his devoted children, Mrs. Arkisha (Darrell) Jones-Bowman of Lakeland, FL, Mr. Kenneth (Sheri) Cross, Jr., of Streetsboro, OH, Mrs. Samantha (Ralph) James-Howard of Warner Robins, GA, Mr. Kenneth (Mariama) Cross III, and Mrs. Jasmine Allen both of Atlanta, GA; 11 siblings, Louise, Dorothy, and Gloria Cross all of Unadilla, GA, Annie Ruth Key, Mary Cross, and Charlie James Cross all of Cordele, GA, Doretha Lester of Hawkinsville, GA, Belinda Cross of Dawson, GA, Terry Cross of Atlanta, GA, and Betty Hoskin, and John Cross of Lakeland, FL; seven grandkids; two great-grandkids; a special sister-in-law, Lisa Lester; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and devoted friends.
