Funeral Services for Mr. Terry Watkins 68, of Unadilla GA will be held Saturday, June 3, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Davis Chapel A.M.E. Perry, GA. Interment will be Private.

Terry Jerome Watkins was born on June 29, 1955, in Perry, Georgia, to the late parentage of Elijah, Jr., and Sara Watkins. He graduated from Perry High School in 1973, where he excelled in extracurricular activities, such as track, baseball, and football. Upon graduation, he began to work multiple jobs over several years culminating in employment by the Dooly County Board of Education as a bus driver and elementary school custodian. Terry was normally a quiet man, but always loved watching his favorite football team, the Pittsburgh Steelers, listening to 70’s Funk Music, and eating a good batch of turnip greens. He and his wife, Lender (Nee Felder), began dating in the late 1980’s. After years of courting, they finally decided to make it official and were united in holy matrimony on June 18, 2005. He became a member of Davis Chapel Church at an early age, but it wasn’t until later in life that he received salvation from his Lord, Jesus Christ. At the time of his passing, he was surrounded by family who loved him dearly. He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Lender Watkins of Unadilla, GA; children, Deltreas Anderson of Vienna, GA, Teriano Felder of Unadilla, GA, Raymond Watkins of Montezuma, GA, and Kimdricka Walker (Louis) of Newport News, VA; seven grandchildren, Precosha Anderson, Quintavis Johnson, Travis Manning, Jr., Ka’Niya Felder, Teriano Felder, Jr., all of Vienna GA, Zyekleer Watkins of Montezuma, GA, and Gabriel Walker of Newport News, VA; eight greatgrandchildren; goddaughter, Moeisha Felder; his late sister and brother, Jackie and Tyrone Watkins; a dear nephew, Joe Worthy of Charleston, SC; a dear niece, Tisha Felder of Unadilla, GA; a loving and devoted aunt and cousin, Mary Arnold and Roy Kendrick, both of Henderson, GA; two close and loving friends, Danny Olsen and Isaac Goodrich, both of Unadilla, GA; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
