Mrs. Deloris Webb Taylor 74, of Atlanta GA formally of Unadilla Georgia entered into eternal rest on Tuesday January 7, 2025.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Deloris Webb Taylor 74, of Unadilla GA will be held Friday January 17, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. at the New Bethel Baptist Church, Unadilla GA. Interment in New Bethel Crossroad Cemetery Unadilla, GA.
Deloris passed peacefully from this life on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, after a gradual decline in health. She was surrounded and supported by her loving family and caregivers during the last days of her life.
Deloris was born on February 16, 1950, in Vienna, Georgia, to the late Mary and Jay Webb. She received her education via the Dooly County School system and worked at the local Factory in Vienna, Georgia, for 14 years. She later served as a cook for several local restaurants within the Unadilla community. In 2019 she relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, to be with her son.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Taylor, and daughter, Latricia Kendrick Lester.
She is survived by: her devoted son, Tyrone “Tye” Webb of Atlanta, GA; three siblings, Rosie Ingram and Gwendolyn Lester of Unadilla, GA, and Roy Webb (Teris) of Memphis TN; one stepdaughter, Carol Jean Fluellen; three grandsons, Jerrell Kendrick, Jamel Nichols, and Sean Lester, Jr.; two greatgrandchildren, Aniya Kendrick and Ayana Nichols; son-inlaw, Sean Lester; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other sorrowing friends.
