Funeral Services for Ms. Dwana Ann Lester 46, of Unadilla GA will be held Saturday September 21, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Brown Chapel Baptist Church, Unadilla GA. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery Unadilla, GA.
Ms. Dwana Ann Lester was born on October 26,
1977, in Vienna, Dooly County, Georgia, to Christine Lester and Johnny Bailey. She answered the call of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Friday, September 13, 2024.
At an early age, she joined Brown Chapel Baptist Church of Unadilla, Georgia. She was educated in the Dooly County public school system and graduated from Dooly County High School in 1997.
Ms. Dwana Lester was a mother who was always there for her family, offering love, support, and wisdom. She loved spending time with her boys and was always there to help them with work and cheer them on at their games. Later in life, she worked at Dooly State Prison as a Food Services supervisor.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories: her two handsome sons, Jarquavius Brown of Douglasville, GA, and Dy’Quan Robinson of Unadilla, GA; one granddaughter, Kehlani Robinson of Cordele, GA; three sisters, Brenda and Rhonda Lester, both of Unadilla, GA, and Valerie Fluellen-Moore (Don
Moore); four brothers, Jerry Lester, Jr. (Patricia), of Cordele, GA, Antonio Bailey (Starlett) of Atlanta, GA, Christopher Bailey of Atlanta, GA, and Emanuel Reed of Atlanta, GA; uncles and aunts, Carolyn Neal of Unadilla, GA, Laura Shassin of Charlotte, NC, Henry Wheeler, Ronald (Annie) Wheeler of Unadilla, GA, Michael Wheeler of Vienna, GA, Joe (Loretta)
Clark of Vienna, GA, Calvin (Deborah) Bailey of Warner Robins, GA, Thelma West of Warner Robins, GA, Malcolm Bailey and Jimmy (Eddie Mea) Jones, both of VA, and Johnny Jones of Atlanta, GA; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Mary Bailey, and aunts, Faye Bailey Robinson, Christine Bostick, and
Ernestine Glenn.
