Obituary For Ms. Elizabeth Wimberly

Celebration of Life for Ms.Elizabeth Wimberly 66, of Byron GA will be held Wednesday January 29, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at the Brown Chapel Baptist Church in Unadilla. Interment in the Evergreen Cemetery Unadilla, GA. Public Viewing will be held Tuesday January 28, 2020 from 1:PM to 6:PM. Final rites have been entrusted to Coes Funeral Home, Unadilla.

Mrs. Elizabeth Lawson Wimberly was born on February 19, 1953, in Dooly County, GA, to the parentage of the late Clarence & Hester Lawson. She was educated in the Dooly County School System. She was blessed with two loving children, one of whom preceded her in death, Mr. Kirkland Wimberly. Elizabeth joined the Brown Chapel Baptist Church at an early age, and she later relocated to Byron, GA. Elizabeth was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She leaves to cherish her memories: a loving son, Mr. Keith Wimberly (Ashlan Fluellen) of Byron, GA; two grandchildren, Khaliq and Janiyha; three devoted sisters, Glory (Willie) West of Henderson, GA, Claudia Lester of Warner Robins, GA, and Eddie (Minnie) Fitzgerald of Unadilla, GA; an ex-husband, James Wimberly; and a devoted special friend, Michael Heard. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many sorrowing friends.
