Funeral Services for Ms. Fannie Mae Lumpkin 91, of Unadilla GA will be Saturday June 26 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Stepping Stones Outreach Ministries Perry, Georgia. Interment in the Evergreen Cemetery, Unadilla . Public Visitation will be held Friday June 25 from 2-6 p.m.
Ms. Fannie Mae Whitaker Lumpkin of Unadilla, Georgia departed her life on Sunday, June 20, 2021. Ms. Fannie was born on December 6, 1929 to the parentage of the late Anderson and Nancy Whitaker of Macon County, Georgia. She had 8 siblings’ whom preceded her in death. Ms. Fannie received her formal education in the Macon County School System in Macon County, Georgia. Ms. Fannie, accepted Christ as her Savior and was a member of Stepping Stone Outreach Ministries in Houston County, Georgia. Ms. Fannie was united in holy matrimony with Mr. Vander Lumpkin Sr. in 1948 in Dooly County, Georgia. Their union was blessed with 7 children. She was employed by Oxford as a Seamstress for several years then at The All-State Truck Stop as a Cook several years before retiring. In Ms. Fannie’s enjoyed fished in her spare time. She’s leaves behind to cherish her memories four daughters Bertha Minor and Mattie Bostic of Unadilla, Georgia, Mary (Johnnie) Norman of Ft. Myers, Florida, and Claire (Herman) Sherod of Gulfport, Mississippi and two sons Willie (Lillie) Lumpkin of Unadilla, Georgia and Albert (Paula) Lumpkin of Vienna, Georgia A host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, greatgreat children, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and 1 brother-in-law Tom Willis (Sharon) Lumpkin, of Hawkinsville, Georgia and sorrowing friends. She was preceded in death by her husband the Vander Lumpkin, Sr., her daughter, Dorothy Mae Lumpkin Smith, step-sons Henry Lumpkin of Silver Springs, Florida late Vander (Rose) Lumpkin, of Atlanta, Georgia Jr.
