Marian peacefully passed away on Thursday, May 22, 2025, after a gradual decline in health. She was born in Vienna, Georgia, on December 24, 1945, to the late Willie Minor Bryant and John Boy Bryant. Marian graduated from Vienna Industrial High School in 1964. She enjoyed playing basketball, visiting family, watching her TV shows, singing songs, and listening to music. She also enjoyed snacking on her favorite snacks, and her favorite drink was, of course, a Coca-Cola. Marian was a beacon of light and a loving person to be around. Her warmth and generosity knew no bounds, and her gentle spirit touched the lives of everyone she encountered. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Mrs. Thelma Killens, Mrs. Susie Cromartie, and Mrs. Annie Eva Ross, as well as four brothers, Eddie Dean Bryant, John Boy Bryant, Jr., Mr. Raymond Bryant, and Mr. Elige Harvey. Marian joined St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church at a young age and served faithfully until her declining health prevented her from continuing to attend. The Lord called our dear sweet mother home to rest at 8:39 a.m. on Thursday, May 22, 2025. Sadly, missed by her loving child and grandchildren, she leaves to cherish her memories: her loving, caring, and devoted daughter, Mrs. Sekeitha King (Maurice) of Vienna, GA; two grandsons, Chad Byrant of New York and Casey Bryant (Tierra) of Virginia; two granddaughters, Chamarley King and Camara King, both of Vienna, GA; four great-grandchildren, Naomi Bryant and Chad Bryant, Jr., both of Atlanta, GA, and Jermiah McKinney and Adalyn Bryant, both of VA; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Jean Baker of Vienna, GA, and Mrs. Betty Crittden of Detroit, MI; one brother, James Bryant (Sheila) of Upper Malboro, MD; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Velma Bryant of Detroit, MI; and a host of nieces, nephews, and many friends. As we bid farewell to Marian, we take comfort in knowing her spirit will live on in the hearts of all those she touched. Marian is survived by her loving family and a host of friends who will forever cherish her memory.
