Ms. Marie N. Evans 64 ,of Cordele GA formally of Vienna Ga entered into eternal rest on Saturday September 9, 2023.
Funeral Services for Ms. Marie Evans 64, of Vienna GA will be held Saturday September 16, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at All Nations House of Prayer in Vienna, GA. Interment in the Vienna City Cemetery, Vienna GA.
Marie Nicey Evans was born February 11, 1959, in Dooly County, Georgia to parents the late Sweetie B. Towns and Doug Nicey. Marie was educated in the Dooly County school system. She was employed with Flex Tech in Byromville, Georgia for approximately six years. Marie was a very sweet and kind lady and she was a mother to everyone. Marie loved fishing, listening to music, going to church, cooking, and taking care of people. She was a happy and loving person and she never met a stranger. Most of all, she loved being around her family and friends. Preceding her in death were her children, Nickie Nicey and Lawandra Evans; sisters, Alice Nicey, Melissa Fed, and Jennie Nicey Clayton; and brothers Fred Nicey and Prince Nicey. To cherish her memories, she leaves behind her children, Derrick Nicey of Vienna, GA and Lisa Green of Cordele, GA (Joshua Moore); sister, Willie May Chaney of Vienna, GA; brothers, Robert Nicey and William Nicey of Vienna, GA; grandchildren, Jawanda Evans, Aderious Nicey, Vito Evans, D’Andravious Nicey, Kaniyah Evans, Deriya Nicey, Keandria Engram, Jamerria Evans, and Tommy Engram, Jr.; four great-grands; and a host of nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives, and sorrowing friends.
