Funeral Services for Sister Annie Eva Ross 87, of Vienna GA will be held Saturday September 23 at 3:00 p.m. at the St. Mark Baptist Church in Vienna, GA. Interment in the Vienna City Cemetery Vienna GA.
Mrs. Annie Eva Ross, age 87, a beautiful soul, died peacefully at her home in Vienna, Georgia, from an extended illness. She was born on April 25, 1936, to proud parents Mr. John B. and Willie Minor Bryant. She was educated in the Vienna school system. She was baptized at an early age, and joined the St. Mark Baptist Church in Vienna, where she served faithfully until her health failed her. She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Issiah Ross, Sr.; one son, Reverend Terry Ross; both parents, John and Willie Minor Bryant; four brothers, Eddie Dean, Liege Harvey, John B. Jr., and Raymond Bryant; and two sisters, Thelma Killen and Susie Carmatie. She leaves to cherish her memories: ten beautiful children, Issiah Jr. (Patricia) of Perry, GA, Donald (Faye France) of Augusta, GA, Debra Ross of Warner Robins, Roddy (Bernell) of Perry, GA, Ethel Lee (Terry-deceased) of Vienna, GA, Reverend Dr. Michael (Carolyn) of South Carolina, Alvin C. (Rundell) of Covington, GA, Scott (Veronica) of Byron, Monica (Gary) of Vienna, GA, Wayne, and Jeffery, both of Vienna, GA; three sisters, Mary Jean Baker and Marion Bryant, both of Vienna, GA, and Betty Crittden of Detroit, MI; one brother, James Bryant (Shelia) of Upper Malboro, MD; one brother-in-law, Thessalonian Ross of Fort Valley; two sisters-in-law, Marion Nuller of Perry, GA, and Velma Bryant of Detroit, MI; and a devoted granddaughter, Ashley Woodson, whom she raised as her own. She also assisted with the early growth and development of her grandsons, Nicholas and Ryan Roundtree, whom she raised as her own. She also leaves behind twenty other grandchildren, fourteen greatgrandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren; a devoted niece and caregiver, Linda Cobb; very devoted friends, Mamie Helen Clark and Willie M. Cobb; and a host of nieces, nephews, and many friends.
