Mr. Alfred Wheaton of 11217 South Lowell Road, Bahama, NC departed this life on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at his residence.
He was born in Concord, Virginia on May 23, 1940, to the late Jeannette Wheaton.
Alfred was educated in the Campbell County school system. He was a retired employee of Rock Ten in Lynchburg, Virginia. He was baptized at New Hope Baptist Church in Lynchburg, Virginia.
He was preceded in death by his wife; Joan Wilson Wheaton and his brother; Albert Wheaton.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his son and daughter-in-law; Wellington Y. and Carmel Bryant Wheaton of Bahama, NC, three granddaughters; Madison Wheaton of Columbus, GA, Victoria Wheaton of Greensboro, NC, and Camryn Wheaton of Charlotte, NC, one niece; Catina Ho (John) of Virginia, sister-in-law; Phyllis Grant (Gary) of Lubbock, Texas and a host of other nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be planned at later date.
Our deepest condolences on the passing of our cousin Alfred. To Wellington, Carmille and rest of the family our prayers are with you as you celebrate his life. Cousin Alfred was a quiet, easy going person whose laugh was deep and infectious. Even though we will not be there physically are hearts and spiritual faith are standing with you.
