Sincere condolences to Rev Hardnette, Rodney and the entire family. I interacted and got to know Arnetta when she relocated back home to care for her sweet mom and my dear friend, Mary Love. Arnetta was a jewel and was very fond of my child Ebony whom she referred to as WDBC's princess. They both are now at peace resting in the arms of our dear Lord and saviour. May we continue praying for one another in the days ahead. Shirley T. Cole

Annetta, my beautiful sophisticated friend, I will miss you dearly. You were on my mind, and I wondered why you had not reached out lately. You could never imagine the impact you have had on my life. I will never forget our long talks in the County Attorney's office and the many text messages and funny conversations we often had after your retirement. As I have told you many times, I was in awe of your kind spirit and dedication to others. You set the standard for grace and dignity, and I hope you know that your philanthropic spirit has made a powerful and lasting impact on everyone you have encountered. My condolences to your dear baby brother, Rodney, your husband, Thomas, and the rest of your family. I will think of you with a smile when I finally make it to that country we often joked about. Love you!
My dearly beloved Annetta. I am so thankful to have known you. You have added so much to my life: I've learned so much from you! You did not just give me a fish, but you taught me how to fish in the form of lifelong skills. I am amazed at how dedicated you were. You always showed great concern -- helping, encouraging, praising, giving, loving, and being around for anyone in need. I celebrate your life today and forever. Rest in heavenly peace. Strength and peace to Rev. Hardnett and the family. Sincerely, Karen Baldwin.
