Obituary For Barbara Bullock Elliott

Barbara Bullock Elliott, was born to the late William Kitchen Bullock and Virginia Hall Bullock on July 9, 1934 in Oxford, North Carolina. She passed March 18, 2024 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

She attended Lowes Grove High School graduating in 1953.

She was married to the late Jasper Eugene Elliott on September 11, 1954.

Barbara worked as an Expense Accounts Auditor with Burroughs Welcome from 1972 until 1994. She attended Lowes Grove Baptist Church in Durham, NC. Barbara enjoyed going to Oak Island, NC with her family, traveling to and watching her granddaughter Monica compete in Horse Shows nationwide. She enjoyed genealogy research and was a member of multiple genealogy groups.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Virginia Bullock, husband, Jasper Elliott; brother, Donald Bullock and wife Myra Bullock and sister, Linda Bullock.

Those left to cherish her memory include: daughter, Patricia Meacham and son in law, Rory Meacham; granddaughter, Monica Hagwood and husband Benjamin Hagwood; great granddaughter, Magnolia Hagwood; multiple nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Staff of The Addison of Durham for their care for the past few months.
