Thinking of the Hunt family today. Emily
My life was made fuller by George and Eleanor's presence though so many years ago when growing up and living in Owensboro. Thank you, God, for the gift of this man. To George's family....I'm praying for you as you remember and mourn this loss. Our hope is in Christ.

So many wonderful memories of George come to my mind at this sad news. My husband Phil and I became fast friends of George and Eleanor once we moved to Owensboro and joined First Baptist Church. Many were the Sunday "after church" meals we shared. And, there were trips to Ireland and Islands of New England with our church group. Of course we had constant debates with George over the Tarheels and the Wildcats!!! My love and sympathy are sent to his entire family of which he was always so very proud. He is now reunited with his beloved Eleanor and seeing face to face his Lord and Savior. What a blessing he has received.
I will miss the smile and the banter about Tar Heel Sports. George was a special person. The Breakfast Club will never be the same.
