Deacon Mac,I'm so glad I could be a part of TEAM McADOO, you will be missed tremendously!
Mac was a constant encouragement to me and a staunch cheerleader. In one communication he said, "Tell the family hello for a brother and I have one more question.....................................................Can I join the choir now. Peace and Nu Nile hair Grease. Much love and once again congrats!" Mac... yes, you may now join the choir. Sing. Sing your heart out and sing for eternity... Sing, Mac... sing.
Nita, "Liq-adoo", the babies, the entire family is in our thoughts in this season. May you experience the manifestation of His comfort and peace.
Love, Dave & Tamara Thomas
Champ is so missed. I still look for the morning inspirational texts. Nita and Lique, know that your family loves you and we are here. I know Champ is with the Lord.
The Taylor family sends our condolences to Herbs family. I go by Jay Tee and we all started working together before any of us ever thought about a family. Me Herb, Bullet, Watt, John Wall, Tee, Moses, Aubrey we all shared everything together because we all worked at the Sheraton Hotel. Had lost contact with Mac, but the memories will always be there. Real nice, laid back guy. You will always be in our prayers.
This wonderful man shared an inspirational message everyday. There were times that these messages literally helped me make it through the day. To Nita, my friend of 30 years, I am so very, very sorry for your loss. I am praying for God to give you strength to pull you through this almost impossible chapter of your life. To Malique, you may not remember me, but I have know since you were a little boy running around with your baseball and bat. Be there for your mom, she's going to need you now more than ever. Stay strong, even though I know it's so very hard. I am praying for you, your wife, and son daily. I love you all.
We are deeply grateful for the time we shared with Herbert "Mac" McAdoo. His unwavering faith, daily scriptures, prayers, and encouraging words, lifted our spirits more than he ever knew. From anniversaries spent together, the trip to the mountains filled with laughter and reflection, Mac's presence was a true blessing in our lives.
Mac's kindness and wisdom will never be forgotten and his words of faith continue to inspire us every day.
To Nita, Malique, Meghan, Austin, and Delaney Grace—our hearts are with you. May you find comfort in the love and legacy that Mac leaves behind.
Forever "FAM" Jake & Kim
